Really really great to "hear" this guys, means much to me.! demand abounds! sorry to hear things aren't going so great. i too have hit a rough patch as of late, and no matter the specifics, great music is very helpful to me, and i hope it is helpful to you as well.
i hope all picks up for you very soon. life is beautiful... most of the time. :)
G.raf. you're on my mind every now and then, hope all is well on your side :) ps.I'll write to you soon, check your mail....
Freebones. I too think and feel that life is beautiful, all, both ups and downs are always and purely meant to be good for us. arts and music and nature are the things that helps me to be.. music is a healing force ;) hope my mixes will ease your burden in the future too. peace
How is this for appreciation, I think in terms of consistency of postings, I rate your blog just about No.1, my friend. We all know what that means, because the standard out there in blogland has changed the way 100s of thousands of jazz collectors view their beloved art form. Possibly for the first time ever (historically speaking), we all get to appreciate just how rich the non-mainstream jazz world has been. And you with your connisseur taste, have presented the community with some outstanding finds from two of the most delicately beautiful and sophisticated jazz 'wells', the European and Japanese jazz scenes of the late sixties and seventies. On behalf of all the 'anonymous', thank you for your generosity in sharing these finds with us all, and my hat off to you for your sublime taste.
Please, no need for thanks, Hoochie. The pleasure is all ours. I don't know how many people have visited your site, but I bet everyone who has bookmarked it gets a surge of anticipation and excitement when they revisit, just in case you have posted yet another rare gem; and I want you to know that turns to a rush of the 'purest bliss' when you have. Long live the Hoochie Coochie Man, (well, hopefully the blog at the very least!) Thanks again, Brother.
